I had some time last January, February and March to paint oil on canvas. My family, as usual, were my first subjets. Then I did a series of my departed grandmother. Later in the year I spent some time painting in acrylic. The layers don't come together as nicely, but it sets up quicker and is more useful as a medium for live work. I painted a couple at their wedding over the summer.
This year has gotten off to a busy start and I haven't yet made time to paint, but I will work on making some time before too much longer.
